Conflict Minerals Statement

In July 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, also known as the Dodd-Frank Act. Although the focus of the Act is financial market regulation reform, it also imposes new regulation regarding “Conflict Minerals.” On August 22, 2012, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), adopted final rules implementing the “conflict minerals” disclosure requirements in Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, passed in congress in 2010.

CEI requires that all suppliers understand and comply with the reporting requirements regarding Conflict Minerals as stated on CEI’s website.
